I just saw this on the street:

There are these "semacodes" that people are pasting up (tagging..) in public places. You use your smartphone to scan them and they link you to a Wikipedia article on mailboxes, or lightposts, or whatever has been tagged.

Why aren't people posting these semalinks to their blogs? Why aren't companies using semalinks to their product's website?

Can't you see thousands of little semacodes stuck up over the place like advertisments? Soon no one will write out jcrew.com when you can just have a little semalink there that will link you to the site, on the spot. The Future...
